“Our Kathu campus represents our commitment to uplifting individuals and communities, while supporting the broader mining ecosystem,” said Danie Krige, Operations Manager at Training Portal. “This is more than a training facility—it’s a step toward empowering people with skills that open doors to employment and self-sufficiency.”
Partnering for a Better Future
The new campus will also strengthen relationships with local businesses, mines, and suppliers, supporting their goals while creating pathways for local learners to enter and thrive in the mining sector. By fostering a skilled and empowered workforce, Training Portal aims to make a lasting contribution to the Northern Cape’s economic growth.
Launch Event
The official launch event, set for 5 February, will bring together community leaders, local businesses, and media to celebrate this important step in advancing skills development and job creation in Kathu and beyond.
