New Campus in Kathu, Empowering Local Communities and Supporting the Mining Sector

Kathu, Northern Cape — Training Portal is proud to announce the opening of its new campus in Kathu, launching on 5 February 2024. Situated near Sishen Mine and at the heart of the Northern Cape’s mining region, this campus is dedicated to uplifting local communities, creating jobs, and educating learners to meet the needs of mines, mining suppliers, and individuals in the area.

 This initiative is part of Training Portal’s broader vision to drive community transformation and economic growth through accessible education and skills development solutions. The Kathu campus will combine traditional training with innovative EdTech solutions, including PC-based access, custom course design, and dynamic video and animation-based learning tools, ensuring that learners receive practical, relevant training that empowers them to succeed in a rapidly evolving industry.
