Long Term Insurance

This qualification is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the long-term insurance industry. This qualification covers crucial areas such as financial literacy, insurance industry knowledge, life insurance products and services, mathematical literacy, financial sector structures, and business communication. Learners will gain an understanding of insurance law, risk management, the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS), and various life insurance products. The programme also equips individuals with communication and analytical skills, enabling them to effectively manage client relations and provide sound insurance advice.

Transition from SETA to QCTO

Learners will explore the various life insurance products, group insured benefits, and the role of insurance in financial planning. This course prepares learners to assess clients' insurance needs, explain product benefits, and understand key regulations such as the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act.
