Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) NQF Level 4: Real Estate

The Real Estate industry is ever-changing and continuously provides opportunities for those interested in a career in the property sector. It has often been said that becoming an Estate Agent is like becoming the captain of your own ship. And today, due to the impact of Covid-19, it is even more imperative that property practitioners try and recover from the devastating impact of the virus.

Legislation provides that in order to operate as a full-status Real Estate Property Practitioner, you must first be found competent in the outcomes-based NQF Level 4 Real Estate Qualification. The Real Estate industry falls under the Services Seta Trade and Industry (SSETA) that governs, controls and monitors the applicable education standards.

This qualification is intended for any individual who wishes to enter the Property and Real Estate industry and provides all the required skills and knowledge to confidently operate within the industry. On successful completion, you will obtain 150 credits and be found competent in:

  • Analysing, evaluating and applying the Real Estate Code of Conduct and Ethics.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of the Real Estate environment and the various laws, rules and regulations that impact on the Real estate function.
  • How to perform your function as a Real Estate agent.
